Feeding Directions: For chinchillas that don’t eat enough loose hay (at least 50% of the diet by weight) this hay-based, grain/soy-free food provides the additional hay they need. It is a balanced, fortified and complete food low in calories that contains additional Timothy hay to provide correct amounts of long-strand fiber for proper digestive health. As a result chinchillas will regulate their own food intake. It will also help overweight chinchillas shed excess body fat and help underweight chinchillas gain healthy weight and improved muscle tone by supplying a proper balance of the essential nutrients needed for optimal health.
